This half standard olive tree has a substantial 30-40cm head diameter along with a thick stem. The olive tree is surely an elegant, slow-growing long-lived plant which is ideal for any sunny, sheltered spot. The olive tree retains its silver-grey leaves all year and, in the summer, it produces tiny, fragrant, creamy-white flowers. The olive fruits ripen in Autumn. This olive tree is equally happy in the pot or planted inside ground as long as it has lots of sun and is also planted in free draining soil. To care to your olive tree, water it regularly during dry periods and apply a high dressing of nitrogen-rich general fertiliser 2-3 times per year, during the growing season. Shoots can be trimmed or pinched out inside summer as required to retain shape.
